Position: Optometric assistant We are looking for an Optometric assistant who is enthusiastic to help others see better, see comfortably, and feel confident in glasses or contacts. To ensure success, the Optometric assistant should be confident and professional administrators with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of our eye care facility. Top candidates will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to our patients’ needs.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and attend patients in person, over the phone, or over social media.
- Professionally assist doctors and patients.
- Maintain inventory and reorder as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctors, staff, and patient information.
- Schedule appointments.
- Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision.
- Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
- Assist clients with proper selections of eyewear for function and style.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
- Strong organizational, administrative and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
- Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
- Passionate about healthcare excellence.
- Excellent people skills
- Possess a patient-focused mindset with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Familiar with Google Suite, Gmail, Google Sheets, Microsoft
- Able to learn new computer software.
- Assist with event planning.
- Familiar with social media, including instagram, facebook, wechat, pinterest and tiktok.
Hours: (Candidates must be willing to work the following hours) Tuesday 11-6pm Wednesday 11-7pm Thursday 11-7Pm Friday 11-6Pm Saturday 930-3pm
Requirement: High school diploma. Speaks English and Mandarin, understands or speaks Cantonese.
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Rate: Entry-level, but will increase with training and experience
