Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT student advisor to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our company. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance their career in business administration.
Requirements:
1. Develop Study Plans: Create tailored learning plans for students based on key interview topics.
2. Resume Support: Assist students in submitting resumes to relevant job postings.
3. Job List Updates: Regularly update and maintain a job list for students.
4. Student Tracking: Use Salesforce to document and monitor student progress.
5. Answer Job Search Queries: Provide students with timely responses to their job search questions.
6. Course Coordination: Work closely with students and mentors to ensure the smooth delivery of courses.
7. Business Development: Contribute to growth initiatives and support strategic business development efforts.
8. Project Management: Assist in managing tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Customer Relationship Management: Offer excellent service and quickly address student inquiries.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Data, Business or a related field. (minimum 3.0 GPA)
2. Experience: Proven experience in business administration or a similar role.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
5. Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively.
6. SQL/ Python/ Java would be assets
7. Language Skills: Proficiency in English speaking and writing is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is an asset.
8. Education: students from SFU and UBC are preferred.
