Experienced Cabinetmaker / Architectural Millworker

CN Architectural Millwork is looking for an experienced Cabinetmaker / Millworker

to join our growing team.

We specialize in high-quality, custom architectural millwork and work on a wide

variety of projects, including custom cabinetry, kitchens, built-ins,

furniture, bars, retail units, casework and architectural paneling.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cabinetmaker who takes pride in

their craftsmanship and enjoys working on unique, custom projects.

What You'll Do Read and interpret architectural plans and shop drawings

Complete accurate material take-offs Take ownership of projects from fabrication through completion Lead builds with support from junior cabinetmakers and shop helpers

Cut solid wood, veneer and panel materials using a sliding table saw Fit, assemble and construct custom cabinetry and millwork Operate a hot-melt glue edge bander

Perform sanding, staining and spray lacquer finishing

Assist with occasional job-site installation, finishing and touch-ups

Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional cabinetmaking / millwork experience

Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings

Excellent understanding of cabinetry construction and fabrication

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good communication skills

Valid driver's licence is an asset

Experience with finishing, installation and custom architectural millwork is an asset

Compensation

$25–$35

per hour, depending on experience, technical ability and level of independence.

Candidates with strong architectural millwork experience and the ability to

independently lead projects will be considered toward the top of the range.
