About the Role
We are looking for a Director of HR Business Partnering to lead the people strategy supporting our company’s rapid expansion across Canada. This role combines strategic partnership and hands-on execution — enabling business leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent while optimizing organizational structures for scalability and efficiency.
You’ll work closely with executives and department heads to align workforce planning, recruitment, and internal mobility initiatives with business goals, ensuring the organization grows with agility and strong leadership capability.
⸻
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Acquisition & Market Positioning
Develop and lead a forward-looking recruitment strategy that builds high-quality pipelines across corporate, operational, and technical functions. Strengthen employer branding, optimize hiring processes, and ensure a consistent, data-driven recruitment approach.
• Organizational Design & Workforce Optimization
Partner with business leaders to review team structures, clarify roles, and drive continuous improvement in workforce alignment and productivity. Lead role redesign, competency mapping, and change management initiatives that enable efficient scaling.
• Talent Mobility & Leadership Development
Design frameworks for internal career progression, promotion, and succession planning. Collaborate with L&D to enhance leadership capability and employee growth pathways that reinforce engagement and retention.
• Business Partnership & Strategic Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all people-related strategies — providing insights on organizational health, workforce analytics, and culture evolution during expansion.
⸻
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership in HR business partnering or organizational development.
• Proven experience supporting fast-growing, multi-site operations in supply chain, manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of Canadian employment law, compensation practices, and workforce planning.
• Data-driven mindset, with proven ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
⸻
Why Join
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of a rapidly expanding organization.
• Partner directly with C-suite and business leaders to influence talent and organizational decisions.
• Be part of a culture that values agility, ownership, and continuous growth.
