About this Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our accounting team and support various accounting functions across multiple entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-savvy professional interested in contributing to a rapidly growing and innovative company.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for restaurants, food processing factories, and central kitchens across four affiliated companies.
Record sales, costs, expenses, and process payroll.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor billing, supplier reconciliation, and collections.
Reconcile daily revenue with merchant and bank accounts.
Support monthly financial close activities, including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
Coordinate annual physical and cycle counts for inventory control in the factory.
Evaluate production costs, analyze gains and losses, and prepare month-end closing data.
Prepare monthly financial reports and year-end documentation in cooperation with external auditors (T2 filing).
Manage store tax filings.
Maintain clean and accurate filing systems.
Collaborate with business personnel to support operational needs.
Oversee financial system digitization and coordinate with IT to maintain accounting software.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in food processing, restaurant chains, or franchising.
Proficient in QuickBooks Online (including payroll module) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Basic understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
Strong programming skills are a plus.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
