Finance Manager (CPA Required)

About Us

We are a growing Vancouver-based construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects. With continuous expansion and multiple projects underway, we are seeking a CPA-designated Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting and financial reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects

• Monitor project costing, WIP schedules, and job profitability

• Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations (GST/PST, corporate tax, payroll)

• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities

• Manage AR/AP and supervise accounting staff

• Support executive team with financial analysis and forecasting

Qualifications

• CPA designation in Canada (required)

• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in construction industry

• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax and financial reporting standards

• Experience with project-based accounting and job costing

• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks / Sage preferred)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Bilingual (English & Mandarin) is an asset
