Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Richmond, BC. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, manage AP/AR, perform reconciliations, and support payroll and reporting to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
Duties
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred; QuickBooks, Xero, Sage acceptable).
Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with account reconciliation processes and maintain accurate financial documentation.
Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries for management.
Maintain organized records in compliance with company policies.
Requirements
1+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
Proven experience with accounting software (D365 preferred; QuickBooks/Xero/Sage acceptable).
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles: AP, AR, reconciliations.
Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis.
Familiarity with payroll processing an asset.
High accuracy in data entry, strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
Good English for workplace communication; Mandarin or Cantonese preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
