We are currently looking for an Accountant.
The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing journal and ledger entries, inventories, expenditures, and other accounting and financial records to ensure compliance with established accounting standards, procedures and internal controls.
Main Responsibilities:
‧ Assist in maintaining the general ledger system, including preparing month-end journal entries, prepaid, accrued and fixed asset depreciation, as well as balance sheet reconciliation
‧ Preparation of journal entries, along with posting entries in accounting systems.
‧ Prepare subledger and bank account reconciliations
‧ Full cycle of AP or AR supporting and assistance
‧ Assist with month-end reporting requirements
‧ Prepare periodic financial reports and financial models for analytics
‧ Assist with monthly inventory analyses and reconciliations
‧ Assist with preparing monthly financial reports
‧ Prepare and maintain schedules, templates, and data models
‧ Other duties as required, including ad hoc reporting and special projects
Skills and Qualifications:
‧ University Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
‧ A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
‧ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
‧ Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbally
‧ Flexible and able to work effectively as a team player
‧ Excellent organizational and time management skills
‧ Experience with Sage and SAP
‧ Full-cycle accounting experience
‧ The ability to speak conversational Mandarin or Cantonese is considered an asset
