Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Full-Cycle Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Canadian accounting standards, and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
Perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Prepare financial statements
File government required document, T2, T1134, WCB etc
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with Canadian tax regulations, including GST/PST filings
Support audit processes by preparing working papers and responding to auditor requests
Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
Assist with cash flow management and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA designation (or working toward CPA) preferred
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Canada
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting processes
Experience with Canadian tax filings (GST/PST, payroll remittances)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
