Position: Accounting Administrator
Location: Richmond, BC, V6X 2C9

Salary Range: $40,000 – $50,000 annually

Position Summary:
The Accounting Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting operational efficiency across departments. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable, payroll administration, and reconciliation of sales and cash transactions across multiple business units. This role requires strong organizational skills, precision, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Review, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
- Process vendor payments through various methods, including cheque runs, EFT, credit card, and wire transfers
- Deposit incoming customer cheques and maintain records
- Reconcile bank accounts, debit card activity, tips, and other cash-related accounts on a monthly basis
- Ensure timely updates and accuracy of all related financial accounts
Payroll Administration
- Administer payroll, insurance claims, T4s, and final settlements
- Maintain organized financial documentation, both digitally and in hard copy
- General Administrative & Financial Support
- Support internal and external audit processes through accurate documentation and timely reporting
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese; ability to communicate in Chinese is required
- Accounting diploma or certificate from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to relocate to and work in Richmond, BC
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a collaborative environment
