Accountant

Position: Accountant

Location: Richmond, BC (Greater Vancouver Area)

We are a fast-growing Canadian seafood group with global operations spanning production, processing, international trade, logistics, and multi-entity financial management. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team.

Responsibilities:

- Handle daily Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) activities

- Follow up on customer payments and collections to reduce overdue receivables

- Communicate with customers and the sales team to support AR recovery

- Enter and reconcile invoices, payments, and receipts

- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing

- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports

- Process employee expense reimbursements

- Maintain organized financial records and documentation

- Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience

- Experience with AR collections is highly preferred

- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage experience preferred)

- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow-up skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese
