Senior Investment Accountant

About Us

We're a privately held investment company focused on long-term real estate and property investments. We're looking for an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and support our investment portfolio.

Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle accounting for the holding company and its investment entities

- Maintain the general ledger and financial records

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

- Perform bank and account reconciliations

- Prepare GST/PST and other statutory filings

- Coordinate year-end working papers with external accountants 
- Track investment transactions, capital contributions, distributions, and intercompany

accounts

- Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis

Qualifications

- 5+ years of accounting experience; holding company, investment, or real estate

accounting preferred

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- CPA candidate an asset

- Familiar with Canadian bookkeeping and tax requirements

- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel

- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and maintain confidentiality

- Fluent in English and Mandarin (Spoken & Written )
